In Friday's non-league match, the host Shiner Comanches football squad scored a good 24-13 victory over the Refugio Bobcats.

In their next game, the Comanches clash with the Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 11. Shiner will attempt to move on its 12-0 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 14-0 record after their 55-14 non-league win over Beckville (Beckville, TX).
