Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) and the host Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA), saw South Medford's basketball squad hold off Enterprise by a tally of 73-71.

With the victory, South Medford improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Eureka (Eureka, CA) to confront the Loggers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 11. The Loggers come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Eureka won 72-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Hoopa Valley (Hoopa, CA)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, January 11. Enterprise will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 51-40 league win over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA).
