The Northside Vikings basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Blacksburg Bruins to 61 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Ashby for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 13.

The Bruins (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Lord Botetourt edged Heritage (Lynchburg, VA), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
