Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hampton nips Fairview
February 5, 2022: Allison Park, PA 15101 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA) and the visiting Fairview Tigers (Fairview, PA), saw Hampton's basketball squad hold off Fairview by a tally of 63-56.
With the victory, Hampton improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Talbots host Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Titans in a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge on Monday, February 7. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Shaler Area lost 60-49 in their recent league challenge against Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Warren Dragons (Warren, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Fairview will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 60-47 league loss to Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA).
