Kentucky High School Basketball - Danville Christian Academy tipped by Wayne County
December 20, 2021: Danville, KY 40422 The Wayne County Cardinals basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Danville Christian Academy Warriors to 38 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Laurel for a District 49 contest on Tuesday, December 21. Wayne County will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 79-48 non-league win over Campbell County (Alexandria, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-1.
The Warriors (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carroll County (Carrollton, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Carroll County nudged McCreary Central (Stearns, KY), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
