The Forreston Cardinals football squad scored 22 points and limited the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons to 21 in the Cardinals non-league win on Saturday.

The Cardinals now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Durand/Pecatonica for a Northwest Upstate Illini battle on Friday, October 13. Forreston will play a Rivermen squad coming off a 46-14 league win over Fulton (Fulton, IL). The Rivermen record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) in a Heart of Illinois - Small battle, on Friday, October 13.
