Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Riverside-Martin upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Ocracoke (Ocracoke, NC) to battle the Dolphins in a non-league test on Friday, May 5. The Dolphins come into the test with a record of 7-7. Ocracoke won 1-0 in their recent league test against Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC)

With the defeat, Bertie falls to 2-12 on the season. The Falcons travel to Washington County (Plymouth, NC) to battle the Panthers in a Four Rivers 1A test on Friday, May 5.
