The Douglass Indians basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Huntington Red Devils to 33 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alto for a 2A Region III District 22 contest on Friday, January 7.

The Red Devils (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Hull-Daisetta was routed by Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX), 58-43, in a non-league contest.
