In Friday's league match, the host Highland Bulldogs football squad scored a close 27-24 victory over the Quartz Hill Rebels.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Knight Hawks (Palmdale, CA) in a Golden match, on Friday, October 23. Highland will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 68-21 league loss to Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA).

The Rebels (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Palmdale (Palmdale, CA). The Falcons enter the Golden match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Palmdale held off Lancaster (Lancaster, CA), 66-6, in a league match.
