Kansas High School Basketball - Eureka crushes Council Grove
February 6, 2024: Eureka, KS 67045 Eureka Tornadoes (Eureka, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS), 64-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Eureka upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Bluestem (Leon, KS) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 10-6. Bluestem lost 40-39 in their recent non-league bout against Fredonia (Fredonia, KS)
Next up, the Braves play the Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Council Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 49-40 non-league win over Hesston (Hesston, KS).
