January 13, 2024: Pueblo, CO 81001 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) and the host Pueblo East Eagles (Pueblo, CO), saw Lewis-Palmer's basketball squad wallop Pueblo East by a tally of 61-37.
With the victory, Lewis-Palmer improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Red-Tailed Hawks in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Cheyenne Mountain lost 67-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Erie (Erie, CO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO) in a 5A/4A South Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Pueblo East will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 73-57 non-league loss to Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO).
