Illinois High School Basketball - South Beloit overwhelmed by Yorkville Christian
December 2, 2021: South Beloit, IL 61080 The Yorkville Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host South Beloit Sobos to 34 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Earlville for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 4. Yorkville Christian will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 28-23 league loss to Serena (Serena, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-4.
The Sobos (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mooseheart (Mooseheart, IL). The Red Ramblers come into the Northeastern contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Mooseheart was routed by Illinois Math & Science (Aurora, IL), 26-23, in a non-league contest.
