The Iola Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting West Trojans to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson-Shiro for a non-league game on Friday, August 12. Iola will meet a Fighting Owls team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Rice (Rice, TX). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 3-1.

The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Black Cats enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Mexia dropped by Wortham (Wortham, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
