Kentucky High School Basketball - Burgin knocked off by Anderson County
November 30, 2023: Burgin, KY 40330 The Anderson County Bearcats basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Burgin Bulldogs to 35 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bearcats now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Anderson County will battle a Dragons team coming off a 75-65 non-league loss to Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Somerset Christian (Somerset, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Somerset Christian topped Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY), 68-49, in a non-league bout.
