Michigan High School Basketball - East Kentwood nips Muskegon
January 3, 2023: Kentwood, MI 49508 East Kentwood Falcons (Kentwood, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Muskegon Big Reds (Muskegon, MI), 41-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, East Kentwood upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Jenison (Jenison, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Ottawa-Kent - Red bout on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Jenison lost 55-40 in their recent non-league bout against Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI)
Next up, the Big Reds play the Reeths-Puffer Rockets (Muskegon, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Green bout, on Friday, January 6. Muskegon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 55-40 non-league win over Jenison (Jenison, MI).
