Texas High School Basketball - Alice nips Santa Gertrudis Academy
December 27, 2018: Kingsville, TX 78363 Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions (Kingsville, TX), 50-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Alice upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Coyotes host Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-15. Gregory-Portland won 46-31 in their recent non-league bout against Marion (Marion, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 16. Santa Gertrudis Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
