Iowa High School Basketball - New Hampton topples Central Springs
February 3, 2022: Manly, IA 50456 In Thursday's non-league outing, the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) basketball squad beat the host Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), by a margin of 59-50.
The Chickasaws (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Charles City (Charles City, IA). The Comets go into the Northeast Iowa outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Charles City was topped by Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 54-52, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Northwood-Kensett for a non-league outing on Monday, February 7. Central Springs will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 79-41 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-14.
