In Friday's non-league match, the host Carver Tigers football squad scored a close 8-7 victory over the Upson-Lee Knights.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 24. Carver will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Purple Hurricanes enter the match with a 8-4 record after their 42-24 non-league win over Gilmer (Ellijay, GA).
