February 7, 2017: Arlington, MA 02474 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Arlington Catholic Cougars (Arlington, MA) and the visiting Cardinal Spellman Cardinals (Brockton, MA), saw Arlington Catholic's basketball squad overcome Cardinal Spellman by a tally of 48-31.
With the victory, Arlington Catholic improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA) to confront the Crusaders in a Catholic Central - Large challenge on Friday, February 10. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Bishop Fenwick lost 59-31 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders (Oak Bluffs, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Cardinal Spellman will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Vineyarders come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 45-43 league win over Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA).
