February 10, 2023: Norfolk, VA 23505 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) and the visiting Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA), saw Norfolk Collegiate's basketball squad wallop Isle of Wight Academy by a tally of 52-21.
With the victory, Norfolk Collegiate improves its record to 6-14 on the campaign. The Mighty Oaks host Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Crusaders in a TCIS challenge on Monday, February 13. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 20-6. Catholic lost 61-59 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Isle of Wight Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 53-24 league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA).
