October 16, 2009: DeRidder, LA 70634 In Friday's non-league game, the DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA) football team smashed the visiting Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA), by a score of 34-0.
The Dragons (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 4A District 5 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Jennings overwhelmed St. Louis (Lake Charles, LA), 27-7, in a league game.
The Warhorses now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexandria for a 4A District 4 game on Friday, October 23. Peabody will battle a Trojans team coming off a 26-12 league win over Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-1.
