The O'Neal Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Caldwell Academy to 39 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington Christian Academy for a NCISAA Tri-TAC contest on Friday, January 27. O'Neal will battle a Royals team coming off a 66-9 league loss to Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC). The Royals record now stands at 0-10.
The (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Furies come into the NCISAA Triad contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Forsyth Country Day prevailed over Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC), 37-18, in a league contest.
