In Friday's non-league game, the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns (Metairie, LA) football team smashed the visiting Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA), by a score of 51-7.

The Cajuns (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies come into the 2A District 10 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Newman overwhelmed Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 23-20, in a non-league game.

The Lions now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benjamin Franklin for a non-league game on Friday, October 21. Willow will battle a Falcons team coming off a 56-13 non-league loss to Albany (Albany, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
