Ohio High School Basketball - Ridgewood tops Sandy Valley
January 7, 2023: Magnolia, OH 44643 Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sandy Valley Cardinals (Magnolia, OH), 42-26 in a league bout.
With the victory, Ridgewood upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH) to play the Trojans in a Inter-Valley bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Newcomerstown lost 68-51 in their recent league bout against Malvern (Malvern, OH)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH) in a Inter-Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Sandy Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 51-28 non-league loss to Marlington (Alliance, OH).
