Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS) and the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), witnessed Madison Central's softball squad tip Hernando by a count of 3-2.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Rankin for a non-league match on Saturday, March 4.

With the loss, Hernando moves to 4-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Picayune (Picayune, MS) to face the Maroon Tide in a non-league match on Saturday, February 25. The Maroon Tide go into the match with a record of 0-3. Picayune lost 15-0 in their recent non-league match against East Central (Moss Point, MS)
