In Friday's league match, the visiting Nimitz Cougars football squad scored a big 40-0 victory over the MacArthur Generals.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 match, on Friday, September 29. Nimitz will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 28-19 league loss to Dekaney (Houston, TX).

The Generals (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region II District 14 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Aldine was crushed by Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX), 56-0, in a league match.
