December 21, 2022: Poolesville, MD 20837 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) and the visiting Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD), saw Poolesville's basketball squad wallop Watkins Mill by a tally of 44-22.
With the victory, Poolesville improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Damascus (Damascus, MD) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Damascus won 52-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Watkins Mill will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 53-46 non-league win over Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD).
