February 23, 2024: Brunswick, GA 31520 The Woodstock Wolverines baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Brunswick Pirates to 1 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Friday.
The Wolverines (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Tift County nipped Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Brunswick falls to 3-3 on the season. The Pirates host Lakeside (Evans, GA) to battle the Panthers in a 6A Area 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Lakeside won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Westside (Augusta, GA)
