October 9, 2009: Robesonia, PA 19551 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Weiser Scouts (Robesonia, PA) and the visiting Boone Blazers (Birdsboro, PA), observed Weiser's football squad defeat Boone by a count of 47-26.
The Scouts now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Muhlenberg for a Berks Inter-County 1 contest on Friday, October 16. Weiser will encounter a Muhls squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Muhls record now stands at 5-1.
Coming up next, the Blazers encounter the Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) in a Berks Inter-County 1 contest, on Friday, October 16. Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
