North Carolina High School Football - Crest succumbs to South Point

September 29, 2022: Belmont, NC 28012

The South Point Red Raiders thwarted the visiting Crest Chargers football team by a count of 35-13 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to encounter the Mountaineers in a 3A West Conference 50 outing on Friday, October 7. The Mountaineers go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Kings Mountain won 48-7 in their recent league outing against Forestview (Gastonia, NC)

With the loss, Crest moves to 4-2 on the season. The Chargers host North Gaston (Dallas, NC) to encounter the Wildcats in a 3A West Conference 50 outing on Friday, October 7. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 0-6. North Gaston lost 37-14 in their recent league outing against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)
