Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Derry topped by Mt. Pleasant
December 6, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666 The Mt. Pleasant Vikings basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Derry Trojans to 23 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yough for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Cougars team coming off a 57-11 non-league win over East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Wild Cats come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, East Allegheny was defeated by Yough (Herminie, PA), 57-11, in a non-league contest.
