Edinburgh Lancers (Edinburgh, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Indianapolis Lutheran Saints (Indianapolis, IN), 70-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Edinburgh upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lancers host North Decatur (Greensburg, IN) to play the Chargers in a Mid-Hoosier bout on Saturday, December 12. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 2-2. North Decatur lost 71-52 in their recent non-league bout against Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN)

Next up, the Saints play the Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 18. Indianapolis Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 74-42 league win over Waldron (Waldron, IN).
