Utah High School Basketball - American Fork can't hold off Westlake

January 24, 2023: American Fork, UT 84003

The Westlake Thunder basketball team scored 49 points and held the host American Fork Cavemen to 43 in the Thunder league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thunder now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Peak for a 6A Region 4 contest on Friday, January 27. Westlake will battle a Knights team coming off a 73-30 league win over Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Knights record now stands at 13-3.

The Cavemen (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Skyridge (Lehi, UT). The Falcons enter the 6A Region 4 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Skyridge nudged Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT), 62-33, in a league contest.
