Louisiana High School Soccer - Mt. Carmel knocks off Grace King
November 16, 2021: New Orleans, LA 70124 Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Grace King Fighting Irish (Metairie, LA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cubs face the Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 19. Mt. Carmel will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Flyers enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA).
The Fighting Irish now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Jefferson for a non-league challenge on Monday, November 22. Grace King will face a Buccaneers team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-0.
