Michigan High School Basketball - Beecher overwhelms Atherton
January 13, 2023: Flint, MI 48458 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Beecher Buccaneers (Flint, MI) and the visiting Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI), saw Beecher's basketball squad wallop Atherton by a tally of 109-35.
With the victory, Beecher improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Ferndale (Ferndale, MI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Ferndale won 72-48 in their recent league challenge against Adams (Rochester, MI)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Bendle Tigers (Burton, MI) in a Genesee Area - Red challenge, on Monday, January 16. Atherton will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 45-42 league win over International Academy (Flint, MI).
