January 24, 2023: Kintnersville, PA 18930 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wilson Area Warriors (Easton, PA) and the host Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), saw Wilson Area's basketball squad hold off Palisades by a tally of 29-25.
With the victory, Wilson Area improves its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA) to play the Panthers in a Colonial - East challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Saucon Valley lost 52-35 in their recent league test against Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA)
The Pirates now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Moravian Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26. Palisades will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 38-32 non-league loss to Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Lions record now stands at 3-8.
