Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE) and the host Brownell Talbot Raiders (Omaha, NE), saw Mercy's basketball squad knock off Brownell Talbot by a tally of 51-35.

With the victory, Mercy improves its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Auburn (Auburn, NE) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Auburn lost 44-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Milford (Milford, NE)

Next up, the Raiders play the Yutan Chieftains (Yutan, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 6. Brownell Talbot will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 59-33 non-league win over Concordia (Omaha, NE).
