Indiana High School Basketball - Rushville holds off Batesville
February 9, 2023: Rushville, IN 46173 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN) and the visiting Batesville Bulldogs (Batesville, IN), saw Rushville's basketball squad hold off Batesville by a tally of 45-42.
With the victory, Rushville improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Delta (Muncie, IN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Delta won 51-47 in their recent league challenge against New Castle (New Castle, IN)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) in a challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Batesville will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 44-26 league loss to Connersville (Connersville, IN).
