The Central Valley Cougars football squad scored 20 points and restricted the host Twin Loup Wolves to 12 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a D2 District 5 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 17. Central Valley will play a Chargers squad coming off a 61-6 non-league win over Osmond (Osmond, NE). The Chargers record now stands at 3-0.

Coming up next, the Wolves play the Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE) in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) battle, on Thursday, September 16. Twin Loup will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
