Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Petersburg Crimson Waves (Petersburg, VA) and the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), saw Petersburg's basketball squad knock off Matoaca by a score of 42-30.

With the victory, Petersburg improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Crimson Waves travel to Hopewell (Hopewell, VA) to play the Blue Devils in a AAA Central challenge on Friday, January 29.
