Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) and the host Skyline Coyotes (Mesa, AZ), saw Apache Junction's baseball squad knock off Skyline by a count of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Prospectors play the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) in a II Section III battle, on Friday, March 30. Apache Junction will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Stallions enter the battle with a 9-7 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Dysart (El Mirage, AZ).

The Coyotes now possess a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Ridge for a I Section II battle on Friday, March 30. Skyline will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-9.
