Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Western Warriors (Las Vegas, NV), 48-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sierra Vista upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Mountain Lions host Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Aggies in a 4A Mountain bout on Friday, January 13. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Arbor View won 82-34 in their recent non-league game against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)

With the defeat, Western moves to 2-7 on the year. The Warriors host Foothill (Henderson, NV) to face the Falcons in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 10. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 3-8. Foothill lost 32-29 in their recent non-league game against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
