Kansas High School Basketball - Piper tops Central
January 21, 2022: Kansas City, KS 66109 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS) and the visiting Central Indians (St. Joseph, MO), saw Piper's basketball squad knock off Central by a count of 60-45.
With the victory, Piper upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Olathe West (Olathe, KS) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Olathe West won 72-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Louisburg (Louisburg, KS)
Next up, the Indians play the Park Hill South Panthers (Riverside, MO) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 43-39 league loss to Staley (Kansas City, MO).
