January 10, 2023: King, NC 27021 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) and the host Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC), saw Union Grove Christian's basketball squad overcome Calvary Christian by a tally of 44-36.
With the victory, Union Grove Christian improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC) to play the Ram in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Ram come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Tabernacle Christian lost 45-36 in their recent league challenge against Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC)
Next up, the Cougar play the Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots (Asheboro, NC) in a NCCSA A East Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Calvary Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 39-12 non-league loss to Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC).
