Georgia High School Basketball - East Jackson fells Chestatee
January 26, 2019: Commerce, GA 30529 East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), 70-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Jackson upgrades its record to 9-14 on the season. The Eagles host Jackson County (Jefferson, GA) to play the Panthers in a AAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 29. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Jackson County won 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Commerce (Commerce, GA)
Next up, the War Eagles play the Blessed Trinity Titans (Roswell, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 29. Chestatee will attempt to upgrade on its 13-11 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 63-39 non-league win over Decatur (Decatur, GA).
