The Warde Mustangs basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Norwalk Bears to 64 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilton for a Fairfield County contest on Saturday, January 8. Warde will battle a Warriors team coming off a 75-36 non-league win over New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.

The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave come into the Fairfield County contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Darien edged Wright Tech (Stamford, CT), 78-30, in a non-league contest.
