Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) and the host Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), saw Ruidoso's baseball squad beat Lovington by a margin of 9-7.

Coming up next, the Warriors play the New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 8. Ruidoso will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM).
