The South Dade Buccaneers topped the visiting Varela Vipers basketball team by a final score of 57-40 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Palmetto Panthers (Miami, FL) in a 6A District 16 game, on Saturday, January 23. South Dade will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record.
