Georgia High School Soccer - Pope nudges Campbell
February 3, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
The Greyhounds now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Walton for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Pope will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Campbell drops to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans host Alpharetta (Alpharetta, GA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-0. Alpharetta won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA)
