Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), 64-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD) to play the Black Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 13. The Black Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Platte/Geddes won 43-27 in their recent non-league bout against Groton (Groton, SD)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Tea Titans (Tea, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Tri-Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
